Last year we were on Oahu helping friends elect the 'Duke' as the next Gov. We rented a SUV for the first time through your company and wondered why we had not used your service previously. The rental pick up and drop off were flawless despite having a deal that Alamo themselves did not come close to offering! We would have no hesitation in recommending Car Rental Hawaii to anyone.

Aloha Guys!

Mahalo for such an easy car rental process!

I was in Maui and Kauai with my boyfriend over Christmas. We rented a car on each island. Your company not only had the best price for us by far, but everything was so seamless when we arrived at each place. Someone from you office even called me to confirm that rental days and times.

Is there a place on Trip Advisor or somewhere that I can post this? I found NKT Travel from the discussion board on Trip Advisor.

Has anyone used www.carrentalhawaii.com?

I found a rental at a very reasonable price and wondered if anyone else had any experience with this company. I was able to book, got a confirmation number, will be using a major firm for the rental(Alamo) but booked through the above website. The reason I ask the question is the cost is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than I could get booking directly or on any other website I looked at... It is a 15 day rental of a minivan :( for 796.94 with ALL taxes (646.00 without) for that time period. Any other tripadvisor opinions would be welcomed. Thank you!

We used Car Rental Hawaii June 29th thru July 8th. They were the cheapest I found. We were totally pleased with them. We had booked a midsize car which we took back the next day because the remote key device didn't work and they gave us a free upgrade to an SUV because they were out of midsize that day. The car was through Alamo. My sister-in-law ended up changing their rental from what they had to Car Rental Hawaii when she heard how inexpensive ours was. I would book as far in advance as you can as Idon't think there is an overabundance of rental cars. When we took it back to the airport two hours earlier than planned they gave us a credit of $42.00. The cost for 10 days was $347.83. Plus we paid another $119.90 for insurance. They were very good at communicating both online and by phone. We would use them again. Have a great trip.

I just booked with them...Chris (the agent) couldn't have been nicer or more helpful...I changed my mind at least 3 times and he patiently worked with me each time. I had originally wanted a standard SUV, like a Chevy Trailblazer (DH and I both drive Chevy Suburbans at home) and was unable to get one. Chris suggest using a car as it would actually be roomier and hold more luggage and so now we have a Chrysler 300 (considered "Luxury") for $150 less than I could get a SMALL SUV for and for $50 less than I could get using my Costco codes (and I tried every agency...).

Now granted, we aren't there yet, but I feel confident that we are set to go and I am very impressed with the customer service I received!
